4GL can't keep screen updated with keypresses

Hi Everyone, We're running Informix 4GL 6.03.uc1 on Digital UNIX 3.2-C and have the following problem: If someone presses keys very quickly in a 4GL program, so that other windows open and possible other 4GL's are launched, the screen does not get updated (though the running 4GL has taken and processed the input). If the user presses CTRL-R to refresh the screen, all of the output that should have been sent to them will be transmitted. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be happening? Thanks, Paul E.
