Backup on Informix Dynamic

Hello I am very new to this list and Informix. Presently I have a big problem with backup of our database which is on Informix Dynamic Server running on HP UX 10.20. The only way I know to perform a backup is to do a dbexport and backup the file to tape through cpio. While doing this, Informix should be shut down. We cannot afford to down Informix for any time. Is there some other way to do a DB backup while Informix is up? Regards Ajay ajay.as@sbm.intnet.mu
