HDR

I have a question about HDR on the Informix online workgroup server for Unix v. 7.12 (irix). We have completed the preliminary tasks -- Both machines are O2s running Irix 6.3, We replicated chunks and dataspaces identically on the second machine, assigned a temp dbspace on both machines and identified in onconfig and .profile, made entries in sqlhosts, services, hosts, and hosts.equiv files, did level 0 backup, and HDR restore on secondary, ontape -p. However, any of the hundreds of times we've tried to initialize a connection, it's failed. We've changed any number of details, hoping to correct what must be some error on our part. The latest message to appear in the log, which could benefit so much by producing more meaningful errors: 13:32:19 DR: Secondary to Secondary 13:32:19 DR: new type = secondary, primary server name = cerulean_dr 13:32:19 Warning: Logging dbspace 'tempdbspace' ignored in DBSPACETEMP on DR secondary. 13:32:19 DR: Trying to connect to primary server ...13:32:19 DR: Cannot connect to primary server 13:32:19 DR: Turned off on secondary server I might add that you can connect to primary via dbaccess on secondary. Thanks in advance for any insights.
