We too, had many problems with 7.12 on an HP-K410. We had MANY Assert Failures and after Informix Support wanted us to help them debug the failures on our production system which we were not inclined to do. We switched back to 7.11 and all was well. We have just upgraded to 7.13 without any problems so far. The difficulties with 7.12 began almost immediately and would fail several times daily. The new 7.13 has been in production on 4 boxes for about 2 weeks and hasn't failed yet (knock on wood). IMHO, it's worth waiting until 7.13 has been ported to your environment.
