SQL ERROR ==> 461: File Open Error

Hi, We have recently installed the Informix SE5.00 into our Sun SPARCstation running SunOs, OPEN LOOK and NFS. We have encountered a sql error message 461: File Open Error. The error occurs when someone login on the console and permission of the /dev/console become "crw--w----", then if you run isql and try open a database, sql popups the above error: File Open Error. I checked the permission of $INFORMIXDIR/lib/sqlexec. It is: -rwsr-sr-x 1 root informix 991232 Nov 11 13:24 sqlexec* Both set-uid bit and set-group-id are turned on. So, what caused this sql error?
