OnLine Engine won't start, HELP!

Our online engine aborted (apparently due to us killing a user process) and now it will not start up again. The error that appears when trying to bring the engine up is: tbinit: fatal error, cannot initialize shared memory. Our log file shows the the following after trying to start the engine: Informix Online Initialized -- Shared Memory Initialized Physical Recovery Started Checkpoint Completed Physical Recovery Complete: 0 pages restored Transaction Not Found Log record: log = 224, pos = 9f018, type = 51, trans = 2 Cannot Rollforward from Checkpoint Informix Online Stopped The transaction it appears to be stopped at is nearly the last transaction in the last log, so we don't really care about it. We just need to get the database engine going again. Is there a way to get around this problem? We currently can't: 1) start the engine 2) backup the logs or 3) backup the database. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
