NewEra and Error 1363

I've recently experienced a new problem with NewEra (2.0) development on a Windows for WG platform. I get an Error 1363 (The program attempted to access outside the memory belonging to the application). This is occurring in programs that have been working and is exclusively occurring in grid-form supertables. The error occurs when trying to execute retrieve() (The default code in the Retrieve Button). I have several freeform screens that are much larger, both in amount of code and in the number of records fetched, that do not return this error. This behaviour is also exhibited in newly generated screens that have no custom coding, only pasted objects (ie a grid supertable, and query and retrieve buttons) and that fetch an absolute minimum of data (2 rows from a table with 2 fields). The error is occurring in HEAP.DLL but looking at the properties of this file does not indicate any change (read corruption) so something else has been changed. Informix support did not know about differences in handling fetched data between freeform STs and gridforms. I would like to narrow this down to some specific files rather than doing another re-install of Windows and Informix (we've had to do that twice now). So, if anyone has run into this situation or knows enough about the internals to point me in the right direction I'd be very grateful.
