Today an SPL that worked yesterday fails with a -661 error. I've
googled about and found a couple other reports of spurious -661 errors;
Variable defined like-
DEFINE v_result ROW (record_id INT,
equipment_id INT,
meter_reading FLOAT,
segment SMALLINT,
event_date DATETIME YEAR TO DAY);
- fails with -
LET v_result = ROW (0::INT, 0::INT, 0.0::FLOAT, NULL::SMALLINT,
TODAY::DATETIME YEAR TO DAY);
- or -
LET v_result = ROW(0,0,0.0,NULL,NULL);
- which has worked for years.
Anyone have any tips on how to kick the thing to get it to work again?
I'll bounce the engine (which has fixed some SPL errors in the past)
tonight but I'd like a more subtle solution. :)

Restarting the engine resolved the error.
