dbload delimiter field, TAB doesnt work..

Informix Online 6.0, Sun Sparc Solaris 2.3 dbload does not like TAB as the field seperator anymore. It works fine in 5.0 online. Not only that but special control characters like the ASCII field seperator i.e. FS 034 control-\\ also does not work. Whats the story on this one. If I preprocess my data and change tabs to vertical bar (pipe symbol) it works. I hate using that. Anybody face this problem yet? Any work arounds... Thanks -- -- Burzin N. Engineer |Tel.
