Re: Finding dbs for table

With fragmentation a table can belong to more than one dbspace. I belive the first 3 chars in partnum contain the dbspace number for the table. You can view partnum in the systables table. My guess is that if you do fragment a table you will have multiple systables entries for those tables. -Bill } } Hi, } } I am looking for a way to find in what dbspace (or chunk) is particular } table. } Can anybody help me? } } Thanks in advance. } } +--------------------------------------------------------+ } | CC Computer Consulting d.o.o. | } +--------------------------+-----------------------------+ } | Zeljan Silje | e-mail: zeljan@laus.hr | } | CC Computer Consulting | Tel: +385 (20) 411-136 | } | Janjevska 15 | +385 (1) 6552-330 | } | 20 000 Dubrovnik | Fax: +385 (20) 411-136 | } | Hrvatska (Croatia) | URL: http://www.laus.hr | } +--------------------------+-----------------------------+ } -- Bill Ennis Voice: 312-474-7516 SSA Fax: 312-474-7460 500 W.
