I got that error once when my TERMCAP environment variable was set wrong, and once when my INFORMIXDIR variable was set wrong. It seems to be the first error message that comes up. Informix should change to send a more meaningful message, but .... I have some probs with the locales set in the INFORMIX Online environment. When I tried to compile an ESQL/C -file i got the error message -23101. Can you give me some advice, please.
