In autoexec.bat: ne2000 ...and other novell drivers... ipxodi odipkt 0 110 <---- 0x6e winpkt 0x6e netx ...other novell stuff... In Lan Workplace directory, TCP\\HOSTS and TCP\\SERVICES need to reflect the host IP and tcp port numbers to correspond to /etc/services. To help in troubleshooting, start the sqlexecd daemon on the host with the -l option. The resulting log file helps to check if your I-Net connection got thru. Below is the command to run. # $INFORMIXDIR/lib/sqlexecd dbservername -l /tmp/sqlexecd.log At least, I can run Informix-DBA now. Still need to get SQLASSIST working, but that's another story. BTW, odipkt can be found at ftp.novell.com also. I forget where I got winpkt.
