Informix Warehousing Tool
Hello folks, I have been tasked to evaluate the Informix Warehousing Tool for my company and seem to be getting some bad information. I am looking for anyone who is using this product for some advice. When I go to the passport advantage download site, the latest version is 11.50.xc1. When I try to install that, i run into all sorts of problems relating to service levels on my machine. IE... this product is for older machines. Calling IBM support, they tell me that 11.50.xc6 is available for this product and that I should go to the passport site to get it. I am running in circles here. Any takers on this one? Thanx, Dan
Hello Mr Dan. I´ve downloaded my IWF over ppa, and its also the 11.50.XC1 version. I had some troubles to install it, but it´s working fine since then. So if you could specify your error messages, I could try to help you on this. 1) Are you having trobles installing the client or server side? 2) What´s your Informix server version and platform?
