database informix hang!

I'm using IDS 9.4 on a HP-UX 11 on an rx4640 machine
My instance is hang and I get error log on informix log:
16:35:16 listener-thread: err = -25580: oserr = 1: errstr = : System
error occurred in network function.
System error = 1.
16:35:38 listener-thread: err = -25580: oserr = 1: errstr = : System
error occurred in network function.
System error = 1.
16:35:55 listener-thread: err = -25580: oserr = 1: errstr = : System
error occurred in network function.
System error = 1.
NETTYPE setting is :
NETTYPE ipcshm,3,400,CPU # Configure poll thread(s) for nettype
NETTYPE soctcp,3,400,NET # Configure poll thread(s) for nettype
On the machine we have 4 x Itanium2 1.6GHz ( 4 processor)
Is there something wrong with our NETTYPE settings?
The informix listener thread is reporting a socket error from the OS. It can
happen for a variety of reasons, some are: high number of connections/ and or
large volume of concurrent network traffic, being transferred over tcp. Couple
of things to start with:
1. Check if a ping-like script written by some one to see if your server is
alive?
2. Check if any monitoring tools is connecting on same port on which Informix
listening
2. Check netstat
Good luck.
