From our investigation into this....you will probably have to re-write most of the application. Anything to do with screen I/O needs a total re-write.. Running reports will need new fron tends to drive them... You may be able to salvage any logic where you are doing BATCH types of updating....where you trigger the job on the server and it runs with no user interface... We also found that if you plan to stay locked into Informix 100% then you can salvage some logic. If you plan to use ODBC connectivity, you have to re-write everything...Informix's ODBC connectivity is very weak at this point. We strongly suggest you wait for Windows95 or NT versions....You will hit too many limits in DOS/Windows if you start now. Good luck
