Re: JDBC and IUS ?

Gert, You can use the JDBC-ODBC bridge, which comes as part of the JDK1.1. It requires ODBC to be installed and configured. It's not the fastest solution, and in the long run is not recommended by Informix, et al, but it is free. Native JDBC drivers are available from Intersolv (http://www.intersolv.com) and Openlink (http://www.openlinksw.com). I just started working with the Openlink set, so there's not much to tell, but they were highly regarded. I haven't ried the development environments, yet. John D. Now i have some questions to this topic: >1) is the JDBC already available ? >2) if not 1), is there an alternative to connect to the IUS via JAVA ? >3) Which JAVA-Development-Environment should be used. I have read something that Symantec-Cafe is supported in a special way ?
