IIUG - OnLine 7.3 announcement
Posted in 1997
10.8.97 One of the major goals of the IIUG is to provide to the general Informix user community information about upcoming Informix products or strategies. To that end, Tony Velcich, Product Manager for OnLine Dynamic Server, forwarded to the IIUG Advocacy Committee the following product pre-release statement about the upcoming 7.3 version of OnLine Dynamic Server. This version of the engine is expected to be available in January 1998. While some of the features listed here have been talked about in generalities, this is a formal confirmation of those features in the release. We hope this information will be of value to you. We are trying to get even more information about product features and futures so you can better understand what Informix is doing and can make what ever decisions are necessary for your particular environment. Sincerely, Carlton Doe Chair, IIUG Advocacy Committee carlton@iiug.org ************************************************************* Many of you have been asking about Informix's plans for the 7.3 release of OnLine Dynamic Server (ODS).
