Look at your services file for the service name using socket 2000. It's in /winnt/system32/drivers/etc. The protocol is probably olsoctcp, but check your $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts file on the server. I assume your setting all this up in Informix' setnet32 on your client, you should be.
