One person recommended setting the DELETE/INSERT keys to CTRL-K, another recommended F35/F36. These would work but if someone really wanted to, they could hit the newly defined key. Also, I seen situations (many, many, moons ago) where using F35/F36 caused a fatal error because a user was using an old Wyse 30 terminal and it didn't support F35/F36. I recommend the following: OPTIONS INSERT KEY CONTROL-Q OPTIONS DELETE KEY CONTROL-Q ALL terminals support a CTRL-Q. Also, CTRL-Q is really an XOFF. Because of that, the system grabs it first... 4GL never even sees it! The user can hit CTRL-Q till their blue in the face and nothing will ever happen.
