Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
People,
Is there a way to store XML documents in Informix Version 10 as an XML
datatype? The idea is to be able query parts of the XML document from within
the SQL query.
Regards
Kenneth
You would probably needed to write a few things to extend the engine. IDS 10
is not very rich re: XML features.
You can have a look at:
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/db2/zones/informix/library/techarticle/030
2roy/0302roy2.html
http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/db2/zones/informix/library/examples/databl
ademods/write_c_udr.html
http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/xsltblade
It does not sound overwhemingly complex to do in Java...
