That price sounds about right. A colleague of mine was quoted around $AU 6800. Given that this is a Windows program, single user development system, it competes against the other products in that class. IMO it is an order of magnitude too expensive. just look at the price of Access, Paradox et al. You say they're not OO? Who cares; they work. I wrote a system using Versant once. It was OO to the hilt and a right pain with it. (But you could do some *really* way-out things by following pointer links). No way am *I* paying that much for a Windows program. I can buy a Pentium computer with all SCSI peripherals, Solaris X86 and lots of software for that price. Peter Wiley
