losing graphical charaters....

When running our application we call other 4gl programs by using run commands. the first application is fine when first brought up (meaning clean window borders, and fields in proper location.) when the second application comes up the borders are standard characters and the screen starts getting garbage characters in it. After exiting the second program and coming back to the first one this problem continues. In order to correct the problem users have to logout and log back in.
