Audit info from SE

I need to use the audit trail facilites to monitor who is doing what to a set of files within my DB. I have the audit trail files set up. The thing is there doesn't appear to be a dblog equivalent for audit trails. Has anyone out there written a utility to do this. My C programming skill are minimal and I don't see how can otherwise do it. I have a basic outline of the autil trail file header info (Figure E-6 from the C-ISAM manual) but nothing else. If I do have to write this thing for myself is there some kind soul out there who could loan my a copy of the C-ISAM manual?
