Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi
I would like to know the function for converting date 03/10/98 into
1998-10-03 00:00:00
in ESQLC.
I read some where that I can use "extends( date(03/10/98), YEAR TO
SECOND )" in
Select statement itself.
Is it bad to user functions at the server end instead of building at
client side.
Right now I wrote a function
void RegQuery::formatDate(IString& date)
{
long i_date;
char out[40];
rdefmtdate(&i_date,"mmm.dd.yyyy",date);
rfmtdate(i_date, "yyyy-mm-dd",out);
date = out;
date += " 00:00:00";
}
Could you please mail me
Thank you
