The latest version is 7.31, or possibly 9.20 already. Otherwise I think there is an SPL script for upper on http://www.iiug.org somewhere. But performance is not going to be good. I agree -- upgrade. However, if that is not an option and you need the SPL script and can't find it in the archives, I still have a copy of it and can send it along (I only have 1/2 -- either the upcase or downcase -- don't remember which).
