The dbcopy utility should work for TEXT and BYTE columns. The very first table I used it for, indeed the original impetous for writing it, was a table with a TEXT BLOB. Honestly I haven't tested that code for years and so there may be a problem. What version of the source are you using? The latest, installed on IIUG and Oninit just last week, was modified to hopefully make it 64bit safe. I may have F*&^ed something up there. But if it's an older version, I don't know. What were the specific error(s)? Dear Art and all other gurus, Thanks for your reply. dbcopy version: dbcopy.ec: Revision: 1.40 after execution , It did not display any error message , only dispaly 0 record are copyed
