Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi,
I tried to install Informix Dynamic Online Server on a system that runs under
SCO OpenServer 5.0.
The startup of informix ends up in an error due to shared memory allocation.
In the logfile there is a statement like
a statement like: << shared memory base illegal >>
Can somebody mail me the Kernel-Parameters to use Informix successfully under
SCO?
Thanx in advance
Frank Miller
P.S. I made all the recommended changes to the kernel params. mentioned
in the documentation to Informix.
