How to monitor IDS TCP/IP connection attempt

Hi, How can I monitor all tcp/ip connection attempt (successfull and not). In online.log I only see the username used for the not successfull one's. I need the ip address to find the user(s) that do these attempt. Thanks a lot, Jean-Guy Charron Montreal, QC
Which version? Current versions should show you the IP addres... Regards. hi there, you could use sysdbopen built-in procedure(http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/idshelp/v115/index.jsp?tab=se arch&searchWord=sysdbopen) to write connection info to a file/table each time the connection to a database is established

The STSN Mnemonic will track both successful and unsuccessful login attempts. Check the IBM Informix Security Guide for information on auditing.
