Except for a bug in ixSupertable::buildselectstmt() which produces non-odbc-conformant statements (can be easily corrected by manipulating the created ixString-variable) this combination works fine for us. In my opinion this is even faster than connecting to an Informix- Datebase over INFORMIX-NET. > Can we use the Microsoft provided ODBC driver to query dBase IV files > from within NewEra ? We tried running our application with Foxpro-datafiles over ODBC. It worked but the performance was getting inaccectable with datafiles containing more than 500 entries. -- t_beuke@tob.prima.ruhr.de
