Application that fork from multi-thread program will hung when connect to sybase using CLI2.5

Hi, I have a multi-thread daemon which will fork and execute other program on schedule. But when daemon startup some application which will connect to sybase server using CLI2.5, in some case, it will hang in call "SQLConnect", and i check the stack of that app , it show: poll(....) ... ... ct_connect... .... SQLConnect() .... main() _start and i use "truss" command to trace the app hanging, see that app call poll infinitly. My environment is OS: Sun Solaris 2.5.1 CLI: 2.5 Sybase client: OpenClient 11 Please help, Can anyone tell me why this happen? Thanks in advance
