dbexport of blobs file type ?

IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11.50.FC6 HP-UX wuasp132 B.11.23 U I have done a dbexport and blobs have been unloaded when I look at file type is say is is a compressed file /home/paqis/temp [paqis wuast130 ast130_ecms_uat] file blobb68f.046 blobb68f.046: gzip compressed Is this correct ? Other files are described as ascii text file ec_la00130.unl ec_la00130.unl: ascii text Is the new for 11.5 - first time I have done export under 11.5
