SYSMASTER DB

The "CONNECT" information on 7.x is contained in the SQLHOST file. I've noticed that when you are under DBACCESS that "CONNECT" allows you to choose which server you want to go to from the SQLHOST. Question: Is informix reading a table from the SYSMASTER DB? Where is the FULL DOC on the "SYS... " tables for the SYSMASTER DB, chapter 39 in the Admin Guides does not COVER them ALL! I'm not talking the arch tables in this DB!
