RE: Urgent: Assert Failures in message log

Vineet,
It might happen that this page corruption doesn't relate to
any specific bug. May be, it was a UNIX I/O problem.
What type of data is Your chunk number 36 (36 = 0x24)?
Try to print out the contents of that page using:
'oncheck -pP 36 754577'
If You can identify what particular object (table or index)
owns that page You can drop/recreate that object.
Also, some other operations (oncheck -c, update statistics high)
should also give You the diagnostics, what object owns that page

Hi All,
We recently upgraded to IDS7.31UD6 verion from
7.31UD2R1 on HP-UX 11.0 box.
While taking the archive of the database using ontape
we are noticing these error messages in the log file
Assert Failed: Archive detects that page 0x24b8391 is
corrupt.
So does anyone know of any known issues with 7.31UD6.
Also how to interpret which chunks/dbspace it is
showing error.
We are using blobspaces also in the database
Thanks,
Vineet
