We are trying to install v7.3 of the Workgroup Server on NT 4 with Sp5. Can anyone tell me why the DB Engine doesn't start? It works fine with Sp3. Paul.

Informix is compliant with SP4,5 since TC7 release. ---------------------------------------------------- With best regards, Yuri Dovgart SAP R/3, Informix technical consultant, Senior System Consultant System Architecture and High Availability Systems, 'Telecominvest' company Email y_dovgart@tci.ukrtel.net ICQ 39284285
That must explain why my website was down for 4 hrs and I had to roll my NT servers back to sp3. IMHO Informix 7.30TC7 through 7.31TC2 works best on NT 4.0 sp3 and unless you have some serious reason to go to sp4 or sp5 I wouldn't bother with them at the moment. I'm using OWS 7.3 TC 7 on NT SP3. Is it now working with SP5 or not? Has anyone experience with SP6? >
