Assert Failed: Internal Error - Segmentation Violation^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Assert Failed is not the error. Segmentation Violation IS!!.There are quite a few (I don't want to use the word "many") situations that will cause the engine to generate an Assert Failure. Segmentation Violation seems to be my engine's favorite. Also Who (which thread or session) caused the error is important. I have sqlexec and tlitcplst threads on the top of my list. I have had 4gl programs, isql sessions and the engine itself cause Assert Failures. I had a 4gl program that crashed the engine continually. I got a bug fix for that one, BUT I still get crashes. Right now I have a list of 7 unsolved crashes. -- Stephen Berg spb@masada.nb.com
