Data Migration Engine now available for multiple Platforms Reliant Data Systems is now pleased to announce that their data migration tool, the DCLE (Data Conversion Language / Engine v.2.1, or "Diesel" for short) has been successfully ported to and tested for HPUX 9.0x on the HP9000 [7/8]00 platform, and was made publically available as of November 1st, 1995. The data engine, which allows for speedy migration and conversion of massive amounts of archived information between heterogenous software and hardware platforms, is the core element of Reliant's "conversion tools" suite of software products. DCLE is preprogrammed for a variety of RDBMS platforms, including but not limited to : Sybase, Oracle, Informix, MS SQL Server and Ingres. Reliant Data Systems is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
