I need some information what can be reason of error 640. I did simple change in my system. I have database with synonym with reference to another databases on second IDS. I droped this synonyms and created again with reference to database with the same structure as before database but placed on another IDS. After this action started problem with error 640 by every execution of procedures which have query with synonyms. I have IDS 7.30 FC 7. Error 640 = QPlan sanity failure line-number. Please help me. Hi Andrzej ! You should refresh query plan of DB-procedure. 1, select procname from sysprocedures You will get some result (procedurename) 2, update statistics for procedure <procedurename> You should run it for every procedurename from the result of the first query which works with the synonym. But it might be safer to execute it for all of them. Sorry for my poor english. Hope this helps. Gabor Papp Sysdata Ltd.
