Connect to ver 7.2

I had posted the problem of not being able to connect from New era 2.12 to Informix ver 7.2. For those who are working in similar environment (probably very few!), the soln : - every communication protocol needs a unique dbservername in sqlhosts file. We were using the same server anem for shared memory and for tcp-ip connectivity. utting in a new anme solved this problem. Now the problem is if in Nettype , i assign NET vp to tlitcp, then it connects once and then doesn't let me connect again. ipcshm 1 10 CPU tlitcp 2 30 NET If I assign CPU VP to this tlitcp, then no limit on connections. Why should this be happening. Vandana
