Informix JDBC and PrepareStatement

Hi You know there is a problem in Informix 1.22 JDBC drivers with the prepareStatement method. Is it possible to make an ResulSet.getMetaData() and ResultSet.getCursorName() after tha prepareStatement?? I have read in a old documentation there is a problem on doing it; but in Programmer`s Guide of Informix JDBC Driver and the release notes, nothing is said about this. But I have used it, and the Resulselt is right, but I think when I make ResulSet.getMetaData() a run time happens. Someone knows about it? Thanks in advanced. Regards Vanessa
