<laughing> So I just went to the oracle.com site looking for some info that is supposedly there re: the reference implementation of sqlj. When I hit the "Search" link I got: Database Log In Failed TNS is unable to connect to destination. Invalid TNS address supplied or destination is not listening. This error can also occur because of underlying network transport problems. Verify that the TNS name in the connectstring entry of the DAD for this URL is valid and the database listener is running. So much for Oracle. ;| Allen
This could be due to a number of reasons, but more simply it could be that the configuration file is wrong. The same thing could just as easily be applied to informix. allenj wrote in message <3A8AD9B7.5C38F580@ndr.com>... ><laughing> > >So I just went to the oracle.com site looking for some info that is >supposedly there re: the reference implementation of sqlj.
