[Q] Attaching to Informix tables

I have been using MS-Access 2.0, on NT as a front end to an Informix-Online 5.01 server, through Openlink ODBC drivers. Recently, I have had severe problems attaching to Informix tables. They take forever and the tables I am working with either crash Access when they load up OR they appear as HASH DELETED. Everything was working fine, for quite some time. Even now I can IMPORT any table and it works fine, I can attach certain tables and it works fine, all from the same database. The problem is probably with the indexes in the Informix table, which unfortunately is a turn key system which we bought, so I have little documentation on either the system or Informix, so my work on it might have been responsible for this. If I look at the SQLOUT.TXT file, made by the ODBC drivers when I try to attach to mytable, I see a command which looks like this; SQLPrepare: Select recno, cardno, . . from mytable where cardno =? AND facility = ? or cardno = ? AND facility = ? OR cardno. . . and on and on for some time. The Server has had no problems though. Any help would be much appreciated, I have already run tbcheck on the Informix tables and am open to any other suggestions, my last resort is of course, to restore backups. -- Saqib Mausoof -------------------------------------------------------------------- I have a hard enough time speaking for myself, so speaking on behalf of my employer is out of the question.
