Memory corruption on NCR 3000

We are running Informix Online 5.02.UC6 on an NCR 3000 SMP, OS version 2.02, and we seem to experience a lot of strange problems. For example, a 4GL module might dump core at a very non-volatile point, such as calling an errorlog function. If we modify the code, the core dump occurs at a different point. The same code compiles and runs fine on both SCO UNIX and AIX. We run all of these modules as .4ge's. Has anyone else seen this kind of problem? Any suggestions?
