Friends, I need some help.. I tried dbexport with a '-ss' option :
dbexport dbname -ss
but still it doesn't mentioned to which dbspace the tables are in thou some tables in the database
is in a different dbspace than the rootdbs. I thought -ss would specify the dbspace too. Or is
there some missing setup that i have not done here.
I know the dbimport has option for dbspace but the dbexport only has the -ss option for this
purpose.
regards.

Get my utility, myschema.ec, which is capable of generating a schema file
which is compatible with dbimport (with the -l option) and ALWAYS prints
the IN <dbspace> clause for all tables. You can then substitute the
myschema output for the dbexport schema file in dbimport using the '-f
<script-file>' option.
Myschema is part of the package utils2_ak in the IIUG Software Repository.
A new version was uploaded this AM which is now available, annoucement
detailing 2 neat new features shortly.
