Linking Telephony Tables

I have been assigned an interesting task of designing a database to hold all of our call records that are processed through a Aspect call center. The Aspect box uses a Informix 4 database to hold all of the records but purges them atfer storing its 1,000,000 record limit. Simple enough? Right? Prob#1 Cannot telnet into the Aspect system because of their security on the system itself Prob#2 Have been able to link tables to an Access 2.0 database but have problems using anything else because it requires a 16Bit driver Basically, wondering if anyone has ever tried anything like this before or might have any ideas on how to.
