You get one kaio thread and so one kaio queue per CPU VP.

No really, some versions of UNIX allow configuration within the kernel
but most do not, it is a UNIX Configuration issue not Informix.

Possibly because you never get so busy that the second kaio queue is
needed i.e. the first kaio thread is always idle when the next
request comes in??
