Headhunters - again.

Alan et al, Maybe I should have kept my head in the sand. I seem to view the group as one large bulletin board where notes of interest to the group are posted. (Don't ask me why I bother writing to it!). Job listings definitely come under the heading of 'interest to the group' and I don't mind the occasional note. What got me started was the dozen or so posts that came through over the past week. Why does this upset me? It doesn't really - I must have feared that the little dutch boy had taken his finger out of the dam and we were about to be inundated. I suppose we should be happy to see these posts float across since they indicate the health of the Informix world in general - which in turn is indicative of our own professional health. The 'votes' so far have been 4 against and 2 for, but the Nays do not seem to be adamant, while the yeahs have expressed some slightly deeper feelings. If I had a mind it would be be of two minds. j. _____________________________________________________________________________ Jack Parker - Contractor | Hewlett Packard, BSMC Boise, Idaho, USA| If you keep staring at it like that, jparker@hpbs2561.boi.hp.com | your nose is going to grow (208) 396-5388 (W) (208) 384-1623 (H) | into the bark. _____________________________________________________________________________ Any opinions expressed herein are my own and not those of my employers. _____________________________________________________________________________
