Data Dictionary HELP!

We have a 60,000 field/400 table Informix database and need to get a graphical view of the table joins and data field names to prototype a data warehouse project. Anybody know of a data dictionary tool that will help target the fields and tables? We checked out ERWin - but its too expense for our pilot ($3500). We have ODBC access and can read the data through MS Access easily - but we are looking for a needle in a haystack. Any ideas?
