Problem with Informix 4GL 1.10 in HP UX

Does anyone know what is wrong when I can print text on the screen only with 'display' command without any optional keywords. 'display at' and 'display to' don't work and forms are not visible. I can input from the fields of forms and everything else seems to work but I can't see anything on the screen. Jari

I4GL 1.10 is over ten years old and has been unsupported for about 5 of those 10 years - give or take. Which version of HP-UX are you using? Unless it is 8.x or earlier, you've upgraded your system without upgrading your software. Additionally, there were a variety of problems with the HP terminals -- are you using HP green screens? Basically, the only affordable solution is going to be to upgrade; I don't know that I4GL 1.10 is even maintainable on Time & Materials, which would be prohibitively expensive. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.60 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>

Some more information: version of HP UX is 10.20. Problem doesn't exist with programs compiled earlier in HP UX 8.x, only when compiling same programs in new Unix version. Is there any chance to solve problem without upgrading 4GL, some compiler options or something? If not, which version of 4GL is compatible with HP UX 10 and how compatible it is with old programs made for 4GL 1.10?
