Hi, You could use CSDK to access the server. CSDK is a collection of APIs used to develop applications for Informix servers. You can write your application in C, C++, ESQL/C. The product consists of 4 APIs that can be used on Unix - ESQL/C, LIBC++, LIBDMI and ODBC. On Windows OS, CSDK provides an additional APIs - OLEDB which can be used to develop applications for Informix servers. A trial version of CSDk can be downloaded by doing a search for keyword "Informix CSDK" at the following link - http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/download/home.jsp This should give you a list of CSDK products that have been released over several platforms. You should be able to choose the platform that you want, and download it. Hi, does anyone knows where to get the client API for Informix Dynamic Server 7.x? Perhaps we want to access the server via api directly. Kind regards, Joachim Engel. sending to informix-list
