Hello All, I am using Informix V10 on Sun Solaris ( different versions ). I would like to use PDQ for queries coming from Business Objects. I gather they use ODBC connections. Is there a way I can include PDQPRIORITY directives within ODBC definitions, BO configuration files etc etc? All thoughts and experiences welcome. I don't know, but if you don't get a better answer, is it feasible for you to bring the engine up with PDQ set? -- Cheers, Obnoxio The Clown http://obotheclown.blogspot.com I will now proceed to pleasure myself with this fish. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by OpenProtect(http://www.openprotect.com), and is believed to be clean.
If you upgrade to v11.50 you can use the connection procedure (which, once you define it, is executed whenever a users connects to the instance) to set the PDQPRIORITY for each user based on their userid. That would work regardless of the connection type. Art Art S.
